I love Life!

I’m a Mum, Entrepreneur, Author and Influencer. The beautiful city of Auckland, New Zealand is my home. I am married to my friend and soulmate, Avi for the last 28 years. We have 2 beautiful children; Maayan who is 9 and Aaryan who is 13. 

Personally fronting 2 food brands; Mel’s Gourmet Foods Ltd – a boutique spices and meal prep brand co-founded with my husband Avi, and a designer cake studio by the name of Sugar and Spice Cakes, let’s just say life is wonderfully busy.

Along with the food brands, I have created a third venture called Handmade with Love. 

I am passionate about the environment and what I use on my skin. Handmade with Love.NZ is a natural bath and skin care line, focusing on handmade soap and skin care.

I have been on an adventure in the business realm for the last 20 years and life has taught me so much. I believe sharing what I have learned and experienced is my next Mission.

Life is this crazy, super-amazing adventure, and I am absolutely passionate about sharing the journey with others, and for them to realise their full potential and life life to the fullest. 

There are some amazing resources and tools to improve our lives. I want to be able to empower YOU to succeed. To further assist my endeavour, I am currently completing my Certification as a Clinical Hypnotherapist.

The Turtle Spirit Animal Symbolism

The story behind the Turtle mascot: I love the sea. Well I love all nature, but the sea is my favourite. Though I am a ‘land sign’, I am drawn to  water. The Turtle is my ‘Spirit’ animal. 

The turtle spirit animal is one of the oldest living animals in the world. There is so much wisdom that you can gain from the turtle symbolism, such as persistence, endurance, and longevity.

When you share an affinity with the turtle spirit animal, you have a carefree attitude. You are also wise beyond your years.

You are patient and enduring, and strong and steady. You are very protective of yourself and the people you love.

You have an unshakeable faith and a contemplative nature. You remain grounded despite your many accomplishments and successes.

You also have expert navigation skills. You can find your way through anything!
